Initially a 4-room HDB, arche° converted one of the rooms into a walk-in wardrobe after understanding the client's lifestyle and plans for the future. An open kitchen concept was proposed as the client would like a communal space for hosting family and friends. They also enjoy baking and therefore require additional countertop space and storage.
We customised both the island counter and the dining table, so the carpentry throughout the Kitchen looks consistent aesthetically. They are also placed parallel to each other to ease interactions when hosting a bigger crowd. The placement also helps to play a part in the line of sight to the TV as the client spends a lot of time in the Living.
