An attempt to express space through an open-plan layout, this apartment is the new generation of public housing in Singapore.
A wide-open space around the crib improves visual connectivity tremendously between spaces. We removed one of their bedroom walls to introduce more natural daylight into the house and converted it into a study. The overall ambience is cosy and calm, yet bright and airy.
With plenty of plants to uplift the mood. A lot of decor and furnishings are thoughtfully curated to encapsulate such tranquillity within the apartment. Also, the inhabitants will have the flexibility to shift furnishing around and according to their preference from time to time.
A pretty sizable feature island has been adopted as the blurring zone between the kitchen and living.
